Job Purpose

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for assisting the Materials Manager in various areas of purchasing, inventory, shipping, and receiving.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with Loaner requests; follow up on late loaners, investigate discrepancies, and billing
  • Processing invoices
  • Double-checking Orders/Sets when necessary
  • Assist with Ordering; Receiving and ensuring inventory records are accurate
  • Collaborate with other team members in various departments, including Purchasing, Inventory, Shipping/Receiving/Packing departments
  • Amend contracts for various changes
  • Inventory checks
  • All the above include: updating QuickBooks, coordinating set exchanges with the shipping and Receiving department, storing contractual records and other correspondence, and updating files, folders, databases, and emails as necessary.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School diploma
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in QuickBooks is helpful
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry helpful
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Must be reliable and a self-starter and have excellent problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
