Job Purpose
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for assisting the Materials Manager in various areas of purchasing, inventory, shipping, and receiving.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with Loaner requests; follow up on late loaners, investigate discrepancies, and billing
- Processing invoices
- Double-checking Orders/Sets when necessary
- Assist with Ordering; Receiving and ensuring inventory records are accurate
- Collaborate with other team members in various departments, including Purchasing, Inventory, Shipping/Receiving/Packing departments
- Amend contracts for various changes
- Inventory checks
- All the above include: updating QuickBooks, coordinating set exchanges with the shipping and Receiving department, storing contractual records and other correspondence, and updating files, folders, databases, and emails as necessary.
- Other duties/projects as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience in QuickBooks is helpful
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the Medical Device industry helpful
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Must be reliable and a self-starter and have excellent problem-solving skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
