Terms of Service

• Any opportunity presented to TriMed to host a designated booth, exhibit, or other space and/or printed or digital media designed to advertise or promote the TriMed or TriMed’s products during a third-party organized program (for example, a trade show, or the AAOS Annual Meeting).
• Typically, this would involve fees used to set up a product information or demonstration booth or tabletop display at events such as a third-party educational event, symposium, or tradeshow.

• • May provide a Commercial Sponsorship in exchange for marketing, advertising, technical training, and promotional benefits, such as signage, display space, exhibit space, or other promotional opportunities during a Third-Party Educational Program.
  • All fees paid as part of a Commercial Sponsorship must
    • reflect a commercially reasonable fee for the marketing and promotional benefits received
    • conform to the Third-Party Educational Program organizer’s standards and requirements (often tiers or menu)

Request Commercial Sponsorship

• Any TriMed funding of monetary support or the provision of product in support of a bona fide Third-Party Educational Program and pursuant to a written agreement.
  • This could be an accredited or unaccredited educational conference – for example, an educational conference hosted by the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons or the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and could be national, regional, or local in scope.

• • TriMed may provide Educational Grants to the third-party organizer of a bona fide independent, educational, scientific, medical, or policymaking program that promotes scientific knowledge, medical advancement, and the delivery of effective health care.
  • Can only provide support to the Event Organizer (not directly to individual HCP/HCEs).

Request Educational Grant

• Any TriMed funding of monetary support for a bona fide fellowship program in the field of orthopedics or a related medical field and pursuant to a written agreement.

• • May be provided to support genuine medical education of fellows participating in fellowship training programs associated with an academic medical institution.
  • Fellowship Grants may be used towards paying for fellows’ salaries and benefits but cannot be used towards an HCE’s overhead costs, executive salaries, or an institution’s other operating costs of operating a fellows program.
  • An annual report must be provided by recipient of fellowship grant funds.
  • VT licensed HCPs may not receive fellowship grants.

Request Fellowship Grant

• A monetary or product donation in support of a third-party non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization’s bona fide purpose/mission or event with no expectation or intent by TriMed to receive anything of benefit. Any charitable donation should be approved and memorialized in writing.

• • Compliance Committee reviews and approves/rejects all requests for Charitable Donations.
  • Can make Charitable Donations of funds or product to support of a bona fide charitable or philanthropic mission or purpose
    • Cannot provide a donation to a charity at the request of or on behalf of an HCP/HCE
    • Cannot invite HCP/HCEs to attend a charitable event (i.e., if we have a table)
    • Product donations are subject to specific rules, including a separate agreement and that the donation must be for indigent care.

• • Requesting Individual/Institution (name, Address)
  • Contact information
  • Detailed description of research intended to be conducted including objective, expected endpoints, outcomes, milestones as well as all relevant timelines
  • Submit copy of the proposed budget for the research
  • Describe how grant / donated materials will be used
  • Submit copy of protocol
  • List other sources of funding for this research project, including amounts and name/identity of donor
